Submission instructions will be sent if the editor is interested in the article you have suggested. The following general rules will apply to all submissions:
- If your article is 750 words or less, you may submit it in an e-mail message to editor@pimagazine.com for consideration. Attachments should be sent in Word format only, with a .doc extension.
- Do not format other than to double-space between paragraphs. No bolding, italics, special coding or indentations!
- Query the editor at editor@pimagazine.com for articles ranging from 750 to 2000 words. (See "Queries" section)
PI Magazine's policy is that the writer, by offering an article to PI Magazine for publication declares that the submitted article has not been submitted to any other media source and agrees not to distribute the accepted article to any other print or electronic outlet for a period of no less than 90 days commencing from the first date of publishing. In addition, PI Magazine holds the copyright to the article as edited and published, including lay-out and illustrations. The writer retains the copyright to the article as originally submitted.
Also, PI Magazine currently does not provide a hardcopy of anything to anyone, especially in electronic format. Reprint order requests will be considered on a per request basis.
