Editorial Themes for 2010:
PI Magazine does not select specific themes for our six issues each year, but we welcome articles on the following general themes:
The business of running an investigation agency (employment issues, payroll, taxes, sales, marketing);
Investigation specialties: criminal defense, civil, fraud, surveillance, due diligence, forensics, technology (Internet, computer, database and case management)
Unusual investigation topics---"one of a kinds" with instruction on how to get started
Legislative and legal issues relevant to investigations and investigators;
Training and educational topics and opportunities;
Local, regional, state, national and international association news
In addition, we have other regular featured sections on a variety of topics:

Process Serving
Gadgets and Tips
Calendar of Events
Wrongful Conviction
Economics
Features on investigators or agencies are rarely used in PI Magazine. Suggestions about those who have significantly impacted the profession are welcome, but please do not send a manuscript without first querying the editor.
