Book Return Policy
Approval is required before returning
any books within 10 days of receipt.
Books may only be returned for a credit towards future purchases.
Please do not return any books until you have received a
Return Authorization (RA#) number. Return requests must be
submitted in writing and mailed to PI Magazine – RA#
Request, POB 7198, Freehold, NJ 07728-7198; or faxed to 732-308-3314;
or emailed to roe@pimagazine.com.
Before returning a book, please keep the following in mind:
- BOOKS DAMAGED IN TRANSIT ARE NOT THE RESPONSIBILITY
OF THE PUBLISHER. Please make a claim with UPS
or the USPS.
- Any book returned must be in new and sellable condition (undamaged
and in original shrink-wrap). There may be no stamps,
marks, stickers, etc., in/on the book.
- There is a 20% restocking fee for each returned book.
- Books returned to us without an RA# will not be accepted
for return credit and will be returned to the customer
upon request, at the customer’s expense. Requests
must be made within thirty days of issuance of PI Magazine’s “Not
Eligible for credit” notice.
- Special Sale or promotional books are not returnable.
- Shrink-wrapped items that have been unwrapped are not
returnable.
- Videotapes, audiotapes, CD’s, DVD’s are
non-returnable.
- Customer is responsible for return postage / shipping.
Returns must be shipped via an insured
carrier. We suggest using UPS to ship your package.

If the above requirements are met,
then the book(s) may be shipped back to us
for credit.
Return Shipping Instructions:
- It is the customer’s responsibility to wrap
the book in a protective manner.
- Shipping costs and
tracking are the responsibility of the customer.
- Books must be returned by a traceable method (i.e., UPS,
FedEX, DHL, RPS). The customer is responsible for
the returns shipment until we receive it.
- The RA# must be clearly written on the outside packaging.
- Returned books must be shipped to PI Magazine – RA#
(insert number), 4400 Route 9S, Suite 1000,
Freehold, NJ 07728, USA
- We suggest that you wrap the book in
the same material you received in. There are two
important steps in successful book packaging: Keep it clean
and immobilize it.
Damaged / Defective Books
1. Defective / damaged books must be returned within 10
days for credit or replacement. 2. In this instance, shipping will be paid by us. There
will be no restocking fee. 3. You must call the office first for instructions

Equipment Return Policy
Terms & Conditions of Use
Effective February 1, 2006
The following terms and conditions, including those
on the face hereof, constitute an Agreement between the
Customer and PI Magazine, Inc. (PIM) and are referred
to as such:
Controlling Provisions
The terms and conditions appearing herein constitute
the sole and entire Agreement of the parties regard less
of the timing, for or content of other communications
between the parties, if any, all of which are merged
herein. The Customer and PIM agree to abide by all the
terms and condition contained herein with each and every
purchase. PIM objects to the inclusion of any different
or additional terms, and non additional or conflicting
provisions contained in any other communication from
the Customer will be considered an unconditional acceptance
of the terms and conditions appearing hereon, without
regard to any additional or conflicting terms proposed
by Customer. None of the provisions of this Agreement
may be varied, amended or modified except by a written
agreement signed by all of the parties.
Local Laws
Before ordering any product you must make local inquiry
to determine if the specific type of product you wish
to purchase is permitted to be used or possessed in your
country. There may be restrictions in your country prohibiting
the purchase, possession, or use of some items listed
for sale on our website. We do not provide for refunds
if the product is not allowed to be imported to your
country or confiscated by any official authority of any
country including customs for your country. Again, once
the product you ordered is shipped internationally, we
relinquish any and all responsibility. If the product
is illegal in your country, simply don’t order
it as it may never get to you. By placing this order,
you accept full responsibility for all applicable laws,
potential loss of product, and accept the consequences,
if any, of this purchase.
Payment
PIM accepts all credit cards and PayPal for online purchases
from Customer in the United States. Orders made by credit
card will be processed and shipped within 2 business
days. PIM also accepts payment made by Western Union
and wire transfer with immediate order processing. Orders
accompanied by check will result in a 1o business day
hold to allow sufficient time for the check to clear.
International orders can only be processed via PayPal,
Western Union, or bank wire transfer. PIM will not accept
credit card payment for international orders.
Shipping
Shipping will be made within commercially reasonable
time unless a specific delivery time is currently undetermined
by the manufacturer or supplier. All orders are normally
processed for shipment within two (2) business days so
long as the products are in stock. All shipments are
F.O.B. shipping point, unless otherwise indicated. Most
orders are shipped via UPS Ground or FedEx Ground service.
PI Magazine, Inc. cannot use a P.O. Box address for delivery.
The Customer is responsible for all applicable shipping
and handling fees when requesting overnight, priority,
2nd day or 3-day select service. All customer requests
for shipment insurance are at the Customer’s expense.
Return Policy
All requests for returns, refunds or exchanges must be
made within 48 hours of delivery confirmation by the
shipper. PIM will replace, refund, or credit your account
for returned item(s) at our discretion. Do not attempt
to return any item(s) until you have received a Return
Authorization number (RA#) or we will not accept the
item. Equipment purchased may only be retuned for a credit
or replacement only if you have received the wrong product
as compared to what you originally ordered and paid for
or the product is defective. Any product that has been
used in anyway will not be accepted as a return. All
products are tested before shipment to insure they work
properly and are unblemished. Products that were damaged
in transit require that you make a claim directly with
the shipping company as it is not the responsibility
of PI Magazine, Inc.
Upon receiving an RA#, please keep the following in mind:
1. Items damaged
in transit are not the responsibility of PIM. Please
make a claim with, UPS, FedEx, or the USPS.
2. Any item
to be returned must be shipped within 5 business days
of receipt and be in new and sellable condition, (undamaged
and in original shrink-wrap). There must be no marks
on the item and the item must not have been used.
3. There are
no returns accepted on digital recording devices.
4.There is
a 20% restocking fee for each item returned.
5. Equipment
returned with no RA# will not be accepted for return
credit and will be returned to the customer upon request
and at the customer’s expense.
6. PIM shall
not be responsible for any shipping charges unless the
wrong product was shipped in error.
7. Special
order, sale, discontinued, or promotional items are not
returnable.
8. Videotapes,
audiotapes, CD’s, DVD’s, and books are non-returnable.
9. Any item
that has been used or modified is non-returnable.
10. Shipping and handling charges
are non-refundable.
11. Customer is responsible for
return postage/shipping fees. Returns must be shipped
via an insured carrier. We suggest UPS to ship your package.

NO REFUNDS ON CUSTOM ORDERS
If the above requirements are met, then the item(s) may
be shipped back to us for credit.

Warranties
All merchandise distributed by PI Magazine, Inc. carries a Ninety (90) Day
Limited Warranty on parts and labor, these items may further be covered by
a 1 or 3 year when indicated under the manufacturer’s warranty, a copy
of which is available to PI Magazine, Inc. customers upon written request
only. PIM MAKES NO WARRANTY, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY
OR FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR MERCHANTABILITY. No agent, employee
or representative of PIM is authorized to bind PIM to any affirmation, representation,
or warranty, oral or written, unless by separate written instrument designed
by PIM, which by its terms state that it is included as part of this sale
and agreement.
Claims
Receipt of goods shall be deemed acceptance of the goods received. All claims
for defective goods or revocation of acceptances, for shortages, for delays,
or failures in shipment or delivery, or for any cause shall be deemed waived
and released by the Customer unless it is made in writing within (7) days
after receipt of goods. All claims must state specifically and in reasonable
detail the nature of all objections, and must be accompanied by delivery
receipt or photocopy of the sales order or packing slip. Any delivery not
placed in dispute in a timely manner shall be paid for by the Customer and
all uncontested amounts due shall be paid by the Customer with terms specified.
As a condition to making a claim for missing or damaged goods sent, the Customer
is responsible for initiating and pursuing with the carrier.
Limitation of Liability
PIM’s liability will be limited to replacement or repair of defective
goods upon receipt of goods in a timely manner per the Return Policy paragraph
detailed herein. In no event will PIM be liable for consequential or special
damages or for transportation, installation, removal, adjustment or other
expenses or losses which may arise in connection with the use or installation
of the goods; late delivery, failure to deliver; or from any other cause.
Notwithstanding the terms of this Agreement of sale, if there should arise
any liability of PI Magazine, Inc., such liability shall be limited to an
amount equal to one-half (1/2) the costs of the goods or $250.00, whichever
is less.
Errors and Omissions
Even though PIM makes every effort to insure that all of the information
displayed on the PIM website is accurate, complete, and current, it is possible
that information about an item may contain inaccurate or incomplete information,
including information about the item's price or availability. PIM reserves
the right to correct errors and/or update the content on our website at any
time without notice. PIM also reserves the right to refuse or cancel any
order containing any error or inaccuracy, even when the order has been submitted,
whether or not the order has been confirmed and the Customer’s credit
card charged. A full refund will be issued in the same manner it was paid should
the Customer’s order be canceled after payment has been processed.
Indemnification
Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless PI Magazine, Inc., its
shareholders, directors, officers, employees, representatives and agents
(collectively, “Representatives”),
all of PIM’s affiliates and all Representatives of all PIM affiliates
from and against any and all lawsuits, losses, damages, actions, causes of
action, governmental duties, charges, lines, penalties, costs, expenses or
obligations of any kind or nature whatsoever (including reasonable attorney’s
fees and costs of defense) arising, relating to, or alleged to arise
or relate to the actions or inactions of Customer in connection with
this Agreement of sale and/or goods or services to be provided by PIM
pursuant to this Agreement. This indemnification obligation shall survive
termination, cancellation or completion of this Agreement.
Assignment
This Agreement may not be assigned by Customer without the express written
consent of PI Magazine, Inc.
Governing Law
This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey.
Notice
Any notice or written document required or permitted to be given by Customer
or PIM to the other shall be in writing signed by the party giving such
notice and sent to the other party at such other Party’s address
set forth on the front of this Agreement (or such other address designated
by the applicable party).
Severability
If any provision of this Agreement or the application thereof to any
person(s) or entity(ies) or circumstance(s) shall be invalid or unenforceable
to provision, each such provision shall be enforced to the greatest extent
permitted by law.
Disclaimers
Depending on where you live, restrictions by certain states, counties,
and cities may prohibit the possession or use of some items listed for
sale by PI Magazine, Inc. on our website or catalogs. It is solely the
responsibility of the Customer and not the PI Magazine, Inc. or PI Magazine,
Inc. to understand and obey federal, state, and local laws or ordinances
with regard to the purchase, possession, and use of any product(s) purchased
before placing an order. You should contact your federal, state, and
local authorities to be certain you are not breaking any laws. By placing
any order with PI Magazine, Inc. you agree; to all the terms and conditions
contained herein; that you are of legal age to purchase and possess the
item(s) purchased; that you have made sufficient inquiry to know that
it is legal for you to purchase and process the items purchased in your
jurisdiction; that the use of the item(s) purchased shall be used in
a lawful manner; that you have read this disclaimer and that by making
a purchase from PIM Inc. you agree to hold PIM, Inc, its owners, agents,
product suppliers, or affiliates harmless from any and all liability.
