It is the ultimate mini digital video recorder available whether you are using it as a covert surveillance video recording device or long recording video unit. Great for body worn surveillance or hidden inside a purse, brief case, sports bag, or organizer. Simply add your favorite miniature spy camera for the ultimate covert surveillance system.

When using the DVR for recording video you can use it the with any NTSC or PAL format surveillance camera that has RCA connections, then play back the recorded video instantly by viewing it on the built-in 3½” LCD screen or watch it later on an NTSC or PAL format monitor connected to the video-out jack. The recorded video is stored on the DVR in MPEG4 format.  The micro technology the DVR is made from makes it so small it practically fits in your hand and it can easily be hidden and worn on the body with a wired camera permitting you to go almost anywhere with a hidden camera on your body. The micro DVR eliminates the limitation of transmission distance between a hidden wireless camera and its receiver.

When using the DVR as a personal device you can store MP3 files to listen to and JPEG files to view on the LCD screen. The on-screen menu provides an easy to use interface for system configuration. You can even use this device as an external hard drive for your PC via the USB2.0 interface.

The rechargeable lithium ion battery on the mini DVR will provide approximately 4 hours of digital video recording time, and the battery is easy to remove and replace when necessary. The battery charger also works as an AC/DC adaptor with 100~240 volt.

This DVR works in Europe and the US because it supports both NTSC and PAL format video and the charger work with 100 to 240 volts, all you need to provide power to the DVR in Europe is an adaptor for the charger's plug.
